■プロフィール
大阪府に生まれる。幼少より奈良県で育つ。大阪芸術大学芸術学部写真学科卒業。卒業制作がその後新人作家の登竜門等で数多く取り上げられる。当時 秦一彰／秦元彦 名義で活動。10数年作家活動ののち発表を休止─その後哲学者ロラン・バルトが提唱する概念「プンクトゥム」に触れたことなどが契機となり発表を再開する。
現在は「羽田蒼月」の名義で活動し、伝統と現代を融合させた独自の視点で作品を展開。最新作では、銀塩写真の粒子とデジタルのピクセルブロックを同一画面に共存させるという世界初の表現に挑み、その試みは、写真表現の新たな地平を切り拓くものとして注目を集めている。

■Profile
Born in Osaka Prefecture and raised in Nara Prefecture. Graduated from the Department of Photography, Faculty of Arts, Osaka University of Arts. The graduation project was subsequently featured in numerous debut-artist showcases. At that time, the artist worked under the names Issho Hata and Motohiko Hata. After more than a decade of creative activity, the artist suspended public exhibitions—later, upon encountering Roland Barthes’s concept of the “punctum,” resumed presenting work.Currently working under the pseudonym Sougetsu Hata, the artist develops a distinctive body of work that fuses traditional motifs with contemporary perspectives. In the latest series, the artist undertakes a world‑first experiment by juxtaposing silver‑halide grain with digital pixel blocks within a single frame—an innovative approach that has been hailed for charting new frontiers in photographic expression.
